The Aston Martin V12 Vantage is a Grand Tourer that is based on the V8 Vantage but it features a 6.0L V12 engine instead of the 4.7L V8 engine. The V12 optically differentiates from the V8 through air intakes on the hood and sharper front and rear diffusers. To put the big V12 engine into the small Vantage body creates an extremely fast and almost overpowered feeling car, that offers a unique driving experience. The V12 displays its real potential in the lower rev section. It only takes 2000rpm to press the passengers into the leather covered seats and let them hear the V12 scream with the nicest noise. Some of the V12 Vantage’s opponents, that are also available here on JamesEdition are the Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale, Ferrari California and Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren.
