Tourrettes is a small Provençal village in the Pays de Fayence, set in the Var hinterland roughly 30 kilometres north of Cannes. The village sits at around 400 metres elevation, surrounded by oak woodland, olive groves, and the distinctive red rock formations of the Estérel massif. The area has retained its agricultural and rural character, with low-density development enforced by protected natural zones, making it one of the more genuinely unspoiled corners of inland Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur.
The village of Fayence, five minutes by car, has a weekly market, several restaurants including Le Castellaras, and everyday shops. The Terre Blanche Hotel Spa Golf Resort, one of France’s top golf destinations with two championship courses, is within walking distance of this part of Tourrettes. Montauroux and Callian are also within a ten-minute drive.
Cannes is approximately 35 kilometres south, reachable in around 40 minutes by car via the D562 and A8 motorway. Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport is roughly 55 kilometres away, typically a 50 to 60 minute drive depending on traffic, providing direct connections to major European and international destinations. There is no direct rail access to Tourrettes; the nearest TGV station is at Les Arcs-Draguignan, around 40 kilometres west.
