KVITFJELL — OLYMPIC SLOPES, SKIING FOR EVERY LEVEL

North of Lillehammer in Norway’s Gudbrandsdalen valley, Kvitfjell earned its international reputation hosting downhill and super-G events during the 1994 Winter Olympics. It remains a regular venue for FIS Alpine Ski World Cup races.

That racing heritage is only part of the experience. Across three mountainsides, beginners can learn on gentle green runs, intermediate skiers can explore blue and red slopes, and experienced skiers can test themselves on the black Olympic courses. Selected rail services connect the airport with Kvitfjell station, with journeys from approximately two hours and 15 minutes. Arrange a taxi or transfer for the final journey to Laftestolen.
