In the historic heart of Manacor, Casa del Baix Riera combines the elegance of a Mallorcan townhouse with the comfort of a comprehensive contemporary renovation. Originally built in 1920, the residence unfolds around a lush courtyard garden with a historic fountain, where carefully restored architectural details meet a restrained palette of natural materials. A magnificent reception room with five-metre ceilings, exposed timber beams and a Binissalem marble fireplace, together with a monumental Carrara marble staircase, restored joinery and traditional shutters, preserve the home’s original character, while all electrical, plumbing and climate-control systems have been completely renewed.

The house is entered through a generous entrance hall that immediately conveys its grand proportions. From here, all principal spaces on the ground floor are accessed. A versatile room facing the street can serve equally well as a guest bedroom or home office. Following his international career, he returned to this house in 1911, where he spent the final decades of his life. His nickname, Baix Riera, later became the official name of the street, creating a unique connection between the house, its owner and the town that endures to this day.
