Cap D'antibes | La Garoupe Beach

Antibes occupies a singular position on the Côte d’Azur, sitting between Nice and Cannes on a peninsula that has drawn artists, writers, and wealthy residents for well over a century. The old town, enclosed by Vauban-designed ramparts, gives the city a historical density rare on this coastline. Cap d’Antibes, the pine-covered headland to the south, is among the most coveted addresses in France, defined by grand private estates, discreet security, and direct access to some of the Mediterranean’s clearest water.

La Garoupe beach is a short walk from the Cap’s residential core. The Bacon restaurant on the waterfront is a long-standing reference for Mediterranean cuisine. The Marché Provençal in the old town runs daily and is one of the best markets on the Riviera. Cannes is 15 minutes by car, Nice 25 minutes.

Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport is approximately 20 kilometres from Cap d’Antibes, reachable in around 25 minutes by car under normal traffic conditions. It serves over 100 direct destinations including major European capitals and transatlantic routes. Antibes train station connects to Nice in under 30 minutes and to Cannes in under 15 minutes on the regional TER service, with direct TGV access to Paris in roughly five and a half hours.
