Cala Santanyí and Cala Llombards, two of the southeast coast’s most sheltered coves, are roughly four kilometres from the town centre. Palma de Mallorca is approximately 60 kilometres from Santanyí, a drive of around 50 minutes via the Ma-19. Palma Airport, the main international gateway for the Balearic Islands, handles direct routes to most major European cities and is served by carriers including Iberia, Lufthansa, and British Airways. Journey time from Santanyí to the airport is roughly 45 to 55 minutes by car. There is no direct rail connection to the southeast of the island.
