In Salento, in a unique place a few kilometers from the sea, where the richness of the territory combines with the richness of a land rich in history, there is a splendid fortified farmhouse dating back to 1600, renovated between 2008 and 2010, the ”Peoprieta’”. It is completely immersed in olive groves, prickly pears, citrus fruits of various species and fruit in general, located in the countryside of Ruffano at 127 meters above sea level.
The central body consists of a fortified tower around which, in the past, a small farming community developed with rooms for the settlers, a stone oven, closed gardens for citrus fruits.
The house has nine bedrooms, each with air conditioning, heating, mini bar and private bathroom; two large kitchens and spacious living rooms enrich the whole, the presence of several porches equipped for the summer periods. The whole overlooks a large garden, bordering the olive grove where the 15 x 7 m swimming pool is located. There is also a large storage room, two bathrooms serving the swimming pool and another old building with bedroom and bathroom. It has a covered area of ​​about 600 m2 on about 50,000 m2 of land.
