In an atmosphere of absolute privacy, we access the property via a dirt road. Once inside, the sounds and scents of Sicilian nature blend together like a dream.

Dalla sua terrazza lo sguardo spazia dal giardino al frutteto, dal paesino al mare fino alle coste africane all’orizzonte.
In un’atmosfera di assoluta privacy accediamo alla property atraverso una stradina sterrata, ed una volta all’interno della proprietà i suoni e gli odori della natura siciliana si mescolano come dentro un sogno.
Lasciando l’Africa alle spalle é possibile accedere al dammuso da una delle 3 porte a vetri sulla terrazza.
Qui i vari ambienti della casa sono comunque uniti internamente.
Von der ersten Tür aus haben Sie Zugang zum Wohnzimmer mit einem Küchenbereich und einem ersten Badezimmer. Questo con una grande vasca sulla quale si trova una fenestra che que un quadro incornicia il panorama sul mare.
Dal soggiorno entriamo nel primo ambiente della zona notte con la sala ed il camerino (una stanza da letto senza finestre perfetta se si desidera fare un pisolino giornaliero) da qui si può atraverso la seconda porta a vetri tornare sul terrazzo. Proseguendo raggiungiamo la second zone notte. Qui l’ambiente notte è anche più grande. Troviamo infatti una grande sala sulla quale si affaccia una spaziosa alcova matrimoniale e il secondo baño, questo con doccia.
Anche da qui è possibile accedere al terrazzo, senza dover störbare gli ospiti della camera predente. Inoltre uscendo sul terrazzo e subito a linistra troviamo un cucinotto esterno ben attrezzato dove preparare ottime colazioni da gustare all’ombra dei pini. Diese Zone ist vielleicht die am besten reparierte und eignet sich zum Entspannen. Amache e sdraio arredano tutti gli ambienti esterni, ma questa parte vi confesso, è la mia preferita.
Il dammuso di completa di altri ambienti non ancora restaurati, altri magazzini e stalle potrebber comentare un secondo ambiente o una dependance per gli ospiti.
Il terrazzo è molto grande e da qui godono splendidi tramonti sul mare e nelle giornate più limpide è possibile scorgere le coste della vicina Tunisia.
Attorno al dammuso un grande terreno cultivato con piante fiori e alberi da frutto verschiedener Gattungen.
La discesa a mare più vicina è quella di Scauri con il suo pittoresco porticciolo, dove è possibile noleggiare barche e gommoni. Il paesino di Scauri bietet auch Bars, Restaurants, Tabaccaio/Giornalaio, Fischeria, Apotheke und einen Supermarkt.

Inside, the various rooms of the house are internally connected.
The first door leads to the living room with a kitchenette and the first bathroom. This bathroom features a large tub beneath a window that frames the sea view like a painting.
From the living room, we enter the first sleeping area, which includes a lounge and a small bedroom without windows—perfect for a daytime nap. From here, the second glass door leads back to the terrace.
Continuing on, we reach the second sleeping area, which is even larger. It includes a spacious lounge, a large master alcove, and the second bathroom with a shower.
This area also has terrace access without disturbing guests in the previous bedroom.
Just outside on the terrace to the left, there is a well-equipped outdoor kitchenette where you can prepare delicious breakfasts to enjoy in the shade of the pine trees. This spot is perhaps the most sheltered and ideal for relaxation.
Hammocks and loungers furnish all the outdoor spaces, but I must confess, this part is my favorite.
The dammuso is complemented by other rooms not yet restored, including additional storage and stables that could become a second living area or a guest annex.
The terrace is very large and offers splendid sunsets over the sea. On the clearest days, you can even see the nearby Tunisian coast.
Surrounding the dammuso is a large plot cultivated with various plants, flowers, and fruit trees.
The nearest beach access is at Scauri, with its picturesque small harbor where boats and inflatables can be rented. The village of Scauri also offers bars, restaurants, a tobacconist/newsstand, a fish market, a pharmacy, and a supermarket.
