Il Castello Barberini ist sito nel territorio del Comune di Monte Porzio, su un’altura presso la riva del fiume Cesano, fulcro attorno al quale intorno all’anno 1000 si è sviluppato il piccolo borgo di Castelvecchio Il Castello befindet sich nur 10 km vom Meer entfernt und etwa 20 Minuten mit dem Auto von der bekannten Località Turistico Balcono in der Nähe von Senigallia.
L’edificio di origine medioevale è constituito da possenti torri angolari e da corpi in muratura che costituiscono i bastioni verso l’esterno.
Il castello già sopraelevato nei secoli XV XVI è stato obggetto in epoche succesive di rimaneggiamenti e restauri.
Tutto l’impianto è stato realizzato in pietra e mattoni ed atraverso un passaggio di pietra (ricordo del vecchio ponte levatoio si accede al portale principale d’ingresso sormontato dallo stemma dei Barberini.
Im südlichen Teil des Schlosses, da un grande cancello si accede, traverso un cortile, con al centre un pozzo in mattoni, alla zona residenziale del Palazzo Barberini costruita in epoca sucessiva, che mostrar soffitti elegantemente affrescati. L’intera fortezza presenta scorci e vedute assai particolari che si aprono sul borgo e su una campagna molto curata.
Die Struktur kann ideal für geschäftliche und private Veranstaltungen sein, könnte aber auch für eine private Nutzung geeignet sein.
