Santa Eularia des Riu occupies the northeast coast of Ibiza and has a distinct identity from the island’s more frenetic southern resorts. It is the only river town in the Balearic Islands, built around the Riu de Santa Eularia, and has long attracted buyers who want proximity to the sea without the density of Ibiza Town. The municipality is known for its whitewashed architecture, well-maintained promenade, and a resident community that stays year-round.

The town centre offers the Mercat de Santa Eularia, the waterfront Passeig de s’Alamera, and a reliable dining strip along the marina. Restaurants including El Naranjo and Babylon Beach serve both residents and visitors. Es Canar and Cala Llenya are within a ten-minute drive, and Ibiza Town is approximately 15 kilometres south.

Ibiza Airport is roughly 20 kilometres from Santa Eularia, with a drive of around 25 minutes via the C-733. The airport operates year-round and connects directly to major European cities including London, Paris, Madrid, and Barcelona, with seasonal routes expanding significantly between April and October. Regular bus services link Santa Eularia to Ibiza Town, and the marina accommodates private vessels with ferry connections to the mainland and neighbouring Balearic islands.
