Historische Hügel Von Villa Camaiore

Perched among the hills of Camaiore, in Nocchi, there is a centuries-old villa that was the lookout of Versilia. From above it still dominates the entire valley, the only villa in Lucca to overlook the sea. In its history that has crossed that of Italy, even the darkest chapters.
Belonged to important families and passed down through noble families of Lucca, who have preserved all its charm, this historic villa. The current shape and finishes date back to 1700 but the original structure is from the 14th century.
The complex was deeply restored in 2003, maintaining the interiors. You arrive from a long access road typical of our area: there are hedges and cypresses on both sides that lead to a princely double-flight staircase.
The villa, with a square base, is 1,600 square meters surrounded by 12 thousand square meters of parkland that also includes a lemon house, swimming pool and tennis courts. The halls on the ground floor have terracotta and stone floors, in addition to coffered ceilings with inlaid wooden panels or with painted decorations that are also repeated on the walls, the original wooden window frames, the internal doors with gold leaf decoration, and numerous fireplaces. The sleeping area on the first floor of the building is made up of seven suites, with entrance, living room, bedroom and bathroom, and accessed by a large decorated central hall.
