The house was designed and decorated as a residence and artistic workshop, with original frescoes, mosaics, and stuccos of extraordinary quality.
Today, the residence is considered one of the most important artist houses of the twentieth century in Brescia.
The ground floor, structured with 17th-century vaulted ceilings, was elevated in 1933 with an architecture that experienced a strong hybridization: on one side Rationalism, on the other a neo-traditional-decorative current that opposed modernist austerity with a more academic and monumental taste that favored continuity with Renaissance classicism.
An Eclectic style, filtered through late Liberty and the sacred Deco of the 1930s.
