Poggio Vecchio Country House 
The Poggio Vecchio Country House  property is located on Via Case Sparse, in the heart of the picturesque hamlet of Farneta, in the municipality of Cortona. The estate lies just a few steps from the Abbey of Santa Maria Assunta, in a setting immersed in the gentle countryside of the Val di Chiana, a land of ancient Etruscan roots. The very name “Farneta” derives from the “farnia,” the majestic oak that has always characterized these woodlands, lending the entire area an atmosphere suspended between history and nature.

Cortona is just 12 km away, Montepulciano 26 km, and Lake Trasimeno can be reached in around 15 minutes. Siena and Perugia are approximately 55–60 km away, under an hour’s drive, while Florence lies around 100 km away (roughly 70 minutes), and Rome can be reached in about 90 minutes.
