Villa 4 Imperatori With Marvelous View At Capri

Villa 4 Imperatori is located in the extraordinary setting of Marina Piccola on the southern part of the Island of Capri. Built in the 1930’s, the villa has an incomparable charm with its busts of Tiberius, Marcus Aurelius, Cesar Augustus and Nero emerging from the terraces, its numerous archeological treasures embedded in the facade and its eclectic collection of objects, ceramics, books. It combines elegance, comfort and simplicity.

The house totals 175m2 and consists of a living room, a dining room, a kitchen, 4 bedrooms (3 with a view, 1 with no view but benefiting from a private roof terrace and shower with a view) with en-suite bathrooms, 1 guest bathroom, plus a storage and a laundry room. The housekeeper cleans every day in the mid-afternoon for 2 hours and takes care of the laundry.

The house is surrounded by 350 m2 of terraces spread over 2 levels, a garden of 60m2, and a pool of 28m2.
The property faces South and receives full sun from the early morning till 3:00 pm. It is then shaded by Mount Solaro after that, allowing the house to refresh.
Guests of the villa will mostly spend the day on the large outside terraces, in the small shaded garden and in the pool, as the view is breathtaking, a real postcard with the famous Faraglioni in the background. There are plenty of tables, chairs, lounge chairs and sofas to eat, read, debate, dream and sleep. The pool disinfection system is salt-based, chlorine free. Staff comes twice a week in the early morning to discretely clean and maintain.

The vaulted ceilings living room, dining room and kitchen all benefit from the same breathtaking view. As a family home, the house has all the expected amenities: a small but fully equipped kitchen, elegant still simple furniture, ceramics, art and books.
Three bedrooms are located on the ground floor. Two benefit from the exceptional view, with a direct access to the terrace. The third bedroom has no view (window to a small inside courtyard) but in exchange benefits from a private roof terrace with an outside shower and the view.
All three bedrooms have their en-suite bathroom, comfortable queen size beds, air-conditioning, and are furnished with the ’well-bred’ taste of the owners.
The fourth bedroom on the roof terrace is the owner’s favorite. It has the same characteristics as the other bedrooms, with that poetic charm of being a bit closer to the sky.

The house is located 5 minutes’ walk to the roundabout of the Due Golfi, and 15 minutes’ walk from the Piazzetta. It is accessible by bike (4 electrical bikes are at disposal) or rented motorbike, and by taxi.
A good Wi-Fi system is in place, but Capri is lagging in terms of fiber connectivity so expect easy videoconferences and calls, but slow movie loading.

Please note: the home is not appropriate for small children, the terraces and the pool do not offer sufficient protection against accidental falls.
