The surrounding environment inspired the villa and its name: Aimasia is an ancient Greek word meaning “dry-stone wall.” The result is a masterpiece, where exposed concrete surfaces and ceilings mingle with curved elements.

Located in the Elia region on a former farmer’s land, the private villa blends contemporary with “natural, rough beauty.” Spanning 920 meters and sitting on a 1.4-hectare plot, the architecture and interiors draw on Mykonos’ geology and honor the island’s tradition. For example, aluminum, cork, local granite, and Greek marble feature throughout, alongside unprocessed low-carbon concrete.
Dixon combines “raw textures and bespoke craftsmanship,” including a staircase with a large boulder suspended above it and custom-created sculptures. Some furniture – iconic S and Pylon chairs and lighting fixtures – is by Dixon himself; other pieces were sourced from his Design Research Studio brand, alongside creatives like Isamu Noguchi, Achille Castiglioni, Mario Bellini, and Wolfe von Lenkiewicz.
The ground-level living and dining spaces are arranged in an L-shape, with floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors letting in natural light and opening onto a terrace. Wandering around, you’ll also find the first of the minimalist bedrooms.
There are six suites in total, each with its own en-suite bathroom and distinctive theme and materiality—ranging from marble and charred oak to clay and steel. One of the six is a detached suite with a kitchenette, offering total privacy, much like a guest house. Both the detached suite and the upstairs bedroom feature private pools and sweeping views of the scenic landscape.
Elsewhere, there are two kitchens: One comes complete with a granite island and the other is outside. On the lower story, take in three more bedrooms built along the existing granite wall, a wine cellar, steam room, gym, and staff areas.

Outside, discover a terrace surrounded by countryside and an infinity pool overlooking the Aegean Sea – perfect for relaxing, admiring the fabulous vistas, or hosting intimate gatherings.
