Aimasia, a breathtaking six-bedroom private villa, envisioned by Tom Dixon and brought to life with the expertise of Praxitelis Kondylis of A31 Architecture, is located in the Elia region of Mykonos Greece, offering a unique blend of contemporary design and natural, rough beauty.
With a total area of 920 square meters and set against the island’s extraordinary rocky terrain, the villa is seamlessly integrated into its environment. The villa’s design draws inspiration from the geological wonders of Mykonos, employing local materials such as stone, minerals and aluminium. This approach not only enhances the aesthetic appeal but also ties the residence to its surrounding environment.
The villa’s architecture draws deeply from the island’s geology, lending seamlessly into the landscape with local boulders, Greek marble, and handcrafted details that honor Mykonian tradition. The interiors, bathed in natural light, are a symphony of raw textures and bespoke craftsmanship, from the suspended stone staircase to custom-designed sculptures and furniture by Tom Dixon’s Design Research Studio.
