Just 25 miles from central London the property is situated in a private lane off Hatton Hill on the edge Windlesham village, generally regarded as premier address. Conveniently positioned for access to the motorway network, with junction 3 of the M3 being about 2 miles away and terminal 5 at Heathrow about 11 miles..
It is worth noting that Farnborough Airport is an important hub for private aircraft and is only about 10 miles away. Also about 2 miles away, you will find Sunningdale station (Waterloo about 50 mins) and Waitrose supermarket. Sunningdale also has a number of coffee shops, restaurants and an excellent butchers, post office and chemist.
Windlesham has several excellent gastro pubs and there is a choice of ‘fine dining’ in the general area.
Anyone with a sporting interest should enjoy this area. There are several world renowned golf courses nearby, including Sunningdale, Wentworth, Swinley and Queenwood. There is a choice of health and tennis clubs including Penny Hill Park, David Lloyd Royal Berkshire and Foxhills. Horse racing can be found at Royal Ascot and Windsor and you could even try your hand at polo with several of the country’s top clubs being nearby. There are also beautiful walks in Windsor Great park and on Chobham Common.
There is an excellent selection of both state and private schooling including, Coworth Flexlands, Hall Grove, Woodcote House, Papplewick, St Mary’s, St George’s, St John’s Beaumont and ACS International School to name but a few. A little further away Wellington and Eton Colleges provide excellent senior education.
