Valldemossa Villa

Valldemossa is one of the most distinguished villages in the Serra de Tramuntana, the mountain range that runs along Mallorca’s northwest coast and holds UNESCO World Heritage status. The village sits at roughly 400 metres above sea level, defined by its stone architecture, terraced hillsides, and the landmark Real Cartuja monastery. It carries a long-established reputation as the most refined address in the Mallorcan interior, attracting buyers who want mountain character without sacrificing proximity to the coast.

The village centre offers Ca’n Costa and Ca’n Pedro for traditional Mallorcan cooking, along with several cafés and artisan food shops. The weekly market runs on Thursdays. Palma is 17 kilometres south, reachable in under 25 minutes by car, giving straightforward access to the city’s restaurants, private schools, and medical facilities.

Palma de Mallorca Airport is approximately 25 kilometres from Valldemossa, typically a 30-minute drive via the Ma-1110 and the motorway. The airport operates year-round international routes to major European cities, with direct connections to London, Paris, Frankfurt, and Zurich among others. The Port of Palma provides ferry links to Barcelona, Valencia, and Ibiza for those preferring sea travel. There is no rail connection to Valldemossa directly, making a car essential for daily use.
