The property, located along the main road that leads from the Amalfi Coast to Ravello and Scala and not far from the delightful beach of Atrani, is an ancient water mill built in 1621 on the banks of the Dragone stream, from which the valley of the same name takes its name,

The stream that runs through the entire valley, misting the water that air-conditions the structure and its ancient, imposing walls, creates a unique microclimate, maintaining optimal temperatures both summer and winter, making this place an oasis of peace and tranquility.

This building, surrounded by greenery and suspended halfway between the mountains and the sea, nestled between history and culture, represents one of the few examples still intact over the centuries, maintaining intact the architectural features that distinguish local late Renaissance buildings. Today, it houses a much-loved accommodation facility, especially among elite tourists.

The imposing stone structure of the villa is accessed from the parking lot by a period bridge, suitable for vehicles, which connects the two banks of the river, creating a single body with the natural setting in which it is set and attracting the attention of those travelling along the road from Ravello to Amalfi.

The property is spread over three levels.

The ground floor houses the reception area, a space with a five-meter-high Byzantine vaulted ceiling, a large stone and terracotta fireplace, and a guest bathroom with double doors. From here, a staircase leads to the first floor, where a first independent apartment is located. It comprises a spacious living room with a dining area and a Byzantine vaulted ceiling. A traditional eat-in kitchen, with a barrel-vaulted ceiling and a Sorrento wood-fired oven, opens onto the gardens, the typical dry-stone terraces of the area, equipped with chestnut poles overlooking the stream and shaded by a lush grove of kiwi and lemon trees.
On this same level, you enter the sleeping area, which features two spacious bedrooms with barrel-vaulted ceilings and chestnut beams, and private bathrooms. The interiors, featuring predominantly vintage furnishings from the 1970s and 1980s, make for a particularly serene and inviting stay.

Continuing up the stairs to the upper floor, you reach a second, independent apartment. This area, completely renovated and certified to meet quality and safety standards, houses the accommodation.
The charming suite, with access to the panoramic terrace, combines the living and sleeping areas in a single open space. The fully equipped open-plan kitchen and dining area with a spacious wooden table and comfortable sofa provide all the comforts of home.

A corridor leads to the two bedrooms with private bathrooms equipped with every comfort and furnished in a simple, modern style. They also have access to the splendid terrace, an ideal place to relax and admire the breathtaking landscape.

The sophisticated design and high-quality finishes (solid chestnut exterior fixtures and pine interiors, bathrooms with hand-painted Vietri majolica tiles and natural curtain fabrics) contribute to creating a welcoming and private atmosphere, combining modernity and authenticity.

The terraces sloping down to the sea, featuring gardens and a fruit-bearing coppice, offer enchanting panoramic views that make the entire setting highly evocative.

Finally, the structure has a large free private parking lot, partly covered, which can comfortably accommodate five cars.

Its strategic and privileged location (with a frequent bus stop just 50 meters away) offers greater comfort and tranquility than nearby coastal towns and the opportunity to enjoy a more authentic and peaceful atmosphere.

Its proximity to attractions such as Ravello Cathedral, the Gardens of Villa Rufolo (home of the Ravello Music Festival), and the Terrace of Infinity at Villa Cimbrone, combined with easy access to beaches and famous locations such...
