Barrandov Villa With A Film History

The interior of the house was designed with practicality and functional use of space in mind, and at one time it also hosted Andersenfilm’s studios, where co-production, advertising and animated films were created. In the residential area, some apartments were rented thanks to their exclusive views, for example, to the director of Pepsi Cola, or the director of Globus or Siemens.

The architecture of the villa is designed in such a way that the apartments on different floors have complete privacy thanks to independent staircases and separate entrances. An interesting fact is that each floor was designed by film architects under the guidance of academic architect Ing. Gotze for maximum variability.

On the ground floor, the architects planned to create a wellness facility that connects the bedroom, outdoor pool, sauna and rest room. The area around the pool was used for shooting advertising spots, organizing luxurious receptions and banquets. In the garden, it is also possible to enjoy sitting by the outdoor fireplace and the diverse views from the adjacent terraces.

The total built-up area of ​​the house is approximately 500 m2. All three floors are connected by an elevator and stairs. There are a total of 14 apartments in the house. Up to 9 cars can be parked inside the house and outside under the shelter near the elevator. The entire building is protected by a security camera system, the entrance gate is controlled automatically.
