Pomérols House

This is one of those ”coup de cœur” houses, you will either fall in love with it or it won’t be your style but you will need to see it to get the feel for it. With a vast vaulted ground floor room (currently used as a theatre but could be an artists workshop / gallery), a shady courtyard, a sunny terrace, a studio bedroom with separate entrance and 6 other bedroom or office spaces there are so many possibilities.
On the first floor, the living room with its wonderfully high ceilings and exposed beams has a double sided fireplace, backing onto the kitchen. The living room leads to the terrace and there is a bedroom (currently a study) and bathroom at one end of the house and two bedrooms and a bathroom at the other end. The upstairs bedrooms are reached via three different staircases.
It has been beautifully renovated using eco friendly materials and keeping the lovely stone walls. There is reversible air conditioning throughout so it is low on energy costs.
Pomerols is a village near the coast - literally 8 minutes from Marseillan Port and beach - with a central square that houses three café/restaurants. It is also in easy access to the Mediterranean beaches and Beziers or Montpellier airports.
