IL PERACCIO AGRICULTURAL ESTATE is located on the hills of Chianti Fiorentino in an area where many of the most renowned and historic Tuscan wineries are present. Its position allows easy access to the historic center of Florence, with a panoramic view of the charming town of Pelago, making this place suitable for enjoying the tranquility of life in the beautiful Tuscan countryside, welcomed in the agriturismo with a swimming pool and the cozy and characteristic high-level restaurant, as well as for taking advantage of the beauty and art of unparalleled Florence. About eight years ago, the production of wine and oil was expanded and improved, transforming it into completely organic cultivation, also increasing sales to the external market and no longer just to satisfy consumption in the ancient family restaurant ”Cammillo,” located in the historic center of Florence. The property extends over an area of approximately 20 hectares, of which 1.80 hectares are active vineyards, producing 10,000 bottles per year, with the possibility of replanting an additional 1.20 hectares, 15 hectares of olive grove, with 3,100/3,200 olive trees, partly with specialized olive groves and partly with the ancient cultivation system with century-old olive trees distributed irregularly across the land, with an average annual production of 50 quintals, equivalent to 5,000 liters of organic extra virgin olive oil, which has received constant recognition and mentions over the years for the excellent quality of the product. The remaining land is wooded. Castel Sofia is the main building of the agricultural estate, a complex from the 18th century on medieval foundations, housing approximately 600 square meters, with 5 apartments for agriturismo, surrounded by a garden with a swimming pool, currently designated for hospitality. Adjacent to Castel Sofia is the contemporary building that houses the reception, the company shop, the restaurant with an open kitchen, and a characteristic courtyard for outdoor tables, as well as the cellar facilities. Nearby are various warehouses and service rooms, along with two sheds.
