Afeiteira Farmstead

Located on the Ribeira do Seissal de Cima, next to the Ermida da Senhora das Neves, Herdade da Afeiteira offers the experience of the tranquility of the Alentejo nature at a distance of about 30 minutes from Vila Nova de Milfontes and the beaches of the Costa Vicentina. With floodplains and mountains, Herdade da Afeiteira is partially inserted in the National Ecological Reserve, the National Agricultural Reserve and in the Agro-Silvo-Pastoris II Spaces.
Entirely populated with cork oaks, with 38.4750 hectares, it produces around 5000 arrobas of cork every 9 years. It is a mixed land with “pre-existence” allowing 500m2 of construction according to the PDM of Odemira, agricultural support up to a maximum of 770 m2 and a Rural Tourism development up to a maximum of 400 m2 per hectare, totaling 15390 m2 .
