Welcome to Malmøya - An island gem in the Bunnefjord often referred to as Oslo’s version of the Southern Norway.
The property is located in a scenic and very attractive, family-friendly residential area on Malmøya in Oslo municipality, just a stone’s throw from the fjord.

Malmøya is a rare gem in the Oslofjord, that feels like living in a sheltered oasis while still being less than 15 minutes away from Oslo’s vibrant city-life.

The island is located approximately 5 km south of the center, positioned west of Ulvøya, and offers a very good growing environment for children and young people.

In the summer, Solvik is a lovely place to visit for both young and older, with a nice beach and a very good restaurant.
Malmøya has a close knit local community and a friendly neighborhood where most people know each other and it is perceived to be very safe.

Bekkelagsbadet, opened in 2019, is located just before the bridge at Ormøya and has become one of the most popular bathing spots in the area. The park of approx. 12 acres has a diving tower, modern toilet facilities, sand-volleyball court, ball pit, parkour park, a food truck and much more.

Great recreational areas in close vicinity both summer and winter. Scattered around the island there are several swimming spots, beaches, marinas and nice open air areas in the forest, and running-paths that give you high pulse due from an exciting landscape. Large parts of the shoreline is protected as natural and public area.

In addition, there is an active sailing community with its own club, as well as several nice events throughout the year initiated by the community. Boat berths close to the property can be rented directly, and the rowing club offers membership that includes use of training facilities and loan of kayaks.
