Contemporary architecture within a Haussmannian building, this former architects’ studio is located in the heart of the Palais de Justice district. Fully redesigned by TOGU Architecture, the project showcases a minimalist style where concrete, steel, glass, and wood form a palette of understated and durable materials. Behind a large street-facing window, the spaces flow with great fluidity. The entrance welcomes you into a first office area before revealing a vast open space widely open to the landscaped patio, a genuine breath of fresh air at the heart of the project. Upstairs, a kitchen with a dining area encourages convivial moments, while the archives and two large independent offices, easily convertible into meeting rooms, complete the layout. The lines are clean, perspectives perfectly controlled, and light accompanies every sequence. The centerpiece of the project is a spectacular sculptural concrete staircase, highlighted by fine metalwork, connecting the two levels with a sense of lightness and defining the identity of the space. The patio, the true heart of the whole, creates a constant dialogue between interior and exterior and provides a rare quality of use for a professional space.
