presents itself as a balanced synthesis between traditional Portuguese style and a contemporary language, marked by straight lines, functionality, and a strong aesthetic expression.

The exterior facade stands out for its contemporary reinterpretation of Portuguese tiles, applied in a ”random” gradient pattern. This solution creates a chromatic transition inspired by the Madeiran landscape, evoking the deep blue of the sea that smoothly dissolves into the light tones of the sky, giving the dwelling a unique and artistic presence.

On the ground floor, the entrance is through an open, tunnel-style hall that leads the eye to an enveloping panoramic view, creating an effect of discovery and spaciousness upon arrival. The social area unfolds in a large space with a double-height ceiling, where the living room and the open-plan kitchen with an island are fluidly articulated. The large glazed surfaces — windows and doors — allow abundant natural light and offer panoramic views. On this floor there is also a bathroom and a functional laundry room, maintaining the practical coherence of the space.

On the 1st floor, the private area consists of a modern suite with a balcony and privileged views, two additional bedrooms and a guest bathroom. This level stands out for its aesthetic continuity and the comfort of the spaces.

The -1 floor integrates a garage with capacity for two cars and a storage area. On the exterior level, gardens surround the house, with carefully integrated vegetation that ensures total privacy and reinforces the connection between architecture and nature.

The house is distinguished by the superior quality of the materials and finishes, the natural light and the spaciousness of the spaces.

Its identity is reinforced by a warm color palette, where walnut wood and beige tones in concrete finishes predominate, creating a sophisticated and welcoming atmosphere, intentionally marked by the absence of white.

In the ceramics, green and blue tones stand out, associated with serenity, applied expressively in the sanitary facilities and on the kitchen island, reinforcing the connection with the natural and maritime concept.

The social area, with its double-height ceiling and views over Funchal and the Atlantic Ocean, is considered the heart of the house.

In terms of comfort, the entire house is equipped with a heated floor system, ensuring thermal efficiency and well-being throughout the year.

On the artistic and conceptual level, a large hand-painted picture (4 m x 6 m) stands out, accompanied by various decorative and constructive elements inspired by the sea and the sky. These elements are particularly evident in the main entrance, the covered porch, and the suite’s balcony, reinforcing the aesthetic coherence and visual narrative of the project.

BENE HOUSE thus establishes itself as a house of singular character, where architecture, art, and landscape merge into a sophisticated contemporary language, thoughtfully designed in detail and oriented towards a distinct living experience.
