6 Bedroom Villa With Sea Views In Santa Bárbara

Welcome to Casa Atlantico, a spacious six-bedroom villa set in the peaceful hillside surroundings of Santa Bárbara de Nexe, in the municipality of Faro. With its generous plot, panoramic views and existing accommodation across three floors, the property offers an opportunity to create a home tailored to the needs and lifestyle of its next owner.
Set on approximately 12,061 m² of land, the villa has a gross area of 360 m² and comprises six bedrooms and seven bathrooms. The existing layout provides ample space for family living, hosting guests or creating dedicated areas for working from home, hobbies and relaxation. Currently operating as a boutique Airbnb, the property has a configuration that can be reconsidered to suit a different way of living.
The interior includes an equipped kitchen, air conditioning, double glazing and a fireplace, alongside practical spaces such as a laundry area and storage or utility room. While the house would benefit from modernisation, this creates an opportunity to rethink the interiors, update the finishes and introduce a style that reflects the character and preferences of its future owners.
Outside, the grounds provide a sense of space and privacy that is increasingly sought after. The garden, terraces and balconies offer several places to enjoy the Algarve’s outdoor lifestyle, while the private swimming pool provides a natural focal point for relaxing and spending time with family and friends. An automatic irrigation system and water cistern are also present.
One of the property’s defining features is its elevated setting, with south, east and west solar orientations and open views across the surrounding countryside, mountains and towards the sea. The landscape provides a peaceful backdrop for everyday life, with the space to consider how the outdoor areas could be developed to complement a future renovation.
For buyers looking beyond a ready-made home, Casa Atlantico offers the chance to bring a personal vision to life. Whether the aim is to create a welcoming permanent residence, a spacious family retreat or a home that accommodates visiting friends and relatives, the existing scale and setting provide an appealing starting point. Any alterations or extensions would, of course, be subject to the relevant planning permissions and approvals.
Located in Santa Bárbara de Nexe, the property combines a quieter hillside environment with access to Faro and the wider Central Algarve. It is well suited to buyers who value privacy, open views and outdoor space while wishing to remain connected to the region’s towns, services and coastline.
