Village house rebuilt with its original stone, on Rua Luís de Camões in Vila Franca do Rosário (Mafra). From the house, which predates 1951, the external walls in local stone and the well in the courtyard were kept; the interior was rebuilt between 2023 and (phone hidden) m² of private area on two floors, with three bedrooms, three bathrooms and a 35.75 m² enclosed garage.

THE HOUSE. Ground floor: 12.82 m² entrance hall with a solid-wood barn door, 29.00 m² living room with a wood-burning stove and an exposed stone wall, 24.02 m² open-plan kitchen with an island, 4.99 m² laundry and guest WC. Upper floor: 15.67 m² en-suite bedroom with a 16.44 m² terrace, a second en-suite bedroom of 9.72 m² and a third bedroom of 30.77 m² with windows on two sides, 1.77 m² more than the living room. Enclosed garage for two cars, with an automatic door and direct access to the house.

THE 2023-2024 WORKS. Structure, slab and roof, water, drainage and electrical systems, plastering, floors, suspended ceilings with LED lighting, aluminium window frames with double glazing, electric shutters, kitchen and three bathrooms. The kitchen has a built-in wine cooler and a Silestone worktop. 200-litre electric water heater and air-conditioning pre-installation in the kitchen and the three bedrooms. THE COURTYARD AND THE OUTBUILDING. 33.32 m² private courtyard with the well, its pulley and rope, connected to the kitchen through a fixed picture window. At the back of the plot there is a 39.05 m² covered outbuilding, currently used for storage. Demolishing it, subject to planning approval by Mafra Municipal Council, adds that area to the courtyard, which would grow to about 72 m². A visual simulation and a space study are available.

LOCATION AND ACCESS. Vila Franca do Rosário is recorded since 1527 and took its current name by royal charter in 1626. The parish church, built in 1567-1580 and rebuilt after the 1755 earthquake, is a listed building (Imóvel de Interesse Público). Rua Luís de Camões carries local traffic only. On foot: pharmacy, parish council office, church and the Carris Metropolitana 2915 bus to Malveira. Primary school in Enxara do Bispo, about 2 km away. By car: A21 at Malveira 7 min, A8 at Venda do Pinheiro 8 min, Mafra and its National Palace 12 min, Ericeira 20 min, Lisbon Airport 30 min.
