”I was inspired by the iconic terraces of Lavaux to design a building that harmoniously integrates into the landscape, following the natural lines of the terrain. The gardens and terraces flow smoothly and connect gently to the natural ground, reflecting the spirit of the region’s characteristic vineyard walls.

Every detail, from window reveals to roof lines, subtly incorporates architectural codes of the winegrowers’ houses without attempting to replicate them. Mineral tones and a roof with terracotta shades were favored, echoing Chardonne’s built heritage.
