A Historic Villa Nestled In A Rose Garden In The Heart Of Chianti

A typical 19th-century Tuscan stately villa, nestled in a spacious rose garden and surrounded by farmland with vineyards and olive groves, situated in a gently rolling hillside landscape on the edge of the Chianti region.

Inhabited by the same family for five generations, the villa has preserved the historic charm and authentic atmosphere of an ancient stately home. Numerous rooms feature frescoed ceilings or elegant wooden coffered ceilings, restored to their original splendor through meticulous restoration work.

The villa is accessed through the main entrance, which leads to a spacious foyer. To the right is an elegant reception room with a frescoed coffered ceiling, while to the left is a bright tea room.

A hallway leads to the library, a storage room, and the internal staircase leading to the upper floor. From here, you can also access a small living room with a kitchen—connected to the rear of the villa via an outdoor loggia suitable for living—and a study area where documents and catalogs related to the rose garden are kept.

The latter includes an office with French doors opening onto the backyard, a pantry, three rooms used as offices and an archive, and a bathroom.

The property spans approximately 6 hectares and also includes a productive vineyard, producing Chianti DOCG Colli Aretini, and an olive grove with about 600 olive trees, used for the production of high-quality extra virgin olive oil.

Within the property there are also four old railroad cars, once used for educational purposes for visitors to the rose garden, and a large greenhouse, which can also be used as a space for hospitality activities.
