Carqueiranne is a small coastal commune on the Gapeau peninsula, between Hyères and La Seyne-sur-Mer, where the Var coastline retains a character that larger resorts have long since lost. Hyères train station provides TGV-linked services via Toulon, which is around 20 kilometres west and connects to Marseille in under 40 minutes and to Paris in approximately three and a half hours. The A57 motorway gives straightforward road access to the wider Var and the Côte d’Azur corridor.
