In the heart of Piedmont’s renowned wine country, nestled among the prestigious hills recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a historic and distinguished family-run business is offered for sale. The estate seamlessly combines outstanding wine production, a diversified agricultural operation, and a well-established, high-end wine tourism hospitality business.

The entire property comprises approximately 3,400 square meters of built area and approximately 33 hectares of land, strategically distributed across two complementary estates located just twenty minutes’ drive from one another.

The first estate is located in the heart of the Langhe, in the area renowned for Moscato d’Asti DOCG. It represents the historic winemaking headquarters of the business and includes six hectares of vineyards, rooted in soils characterized by white marl and blue clay. The property features a fully equipped winery with modern stainless-steel tanks and is complemented by an appealing Wine Country House, comprising an independent apartment and five comfortable bedrooms overlooking the surrounding hills.

The second estate is located in Monferrato and extends over a total area of approximately twenty-five hectares. This recently developed property includes nine hectares of vineyards particularly suited to the production of outstanding Barbera wines, five hectares of hazelnut groves certified under the Nocciola Piemonte IGP Tonda Gentile delle Langhe designation, with potential for future hospitality projects, as well as a large woodland area featuring mature trees framing the main villa. The estate includes a new winemaking facility and a high-end hospitality complex with approximately 2,300 square meters of covered floor area. This comprises the main villa, featuring a large reception hall with a spectacular designer glass façade overlooking the surrounding countryside; two additional comfortable and panoramic apartments, providing a total of six bedrooms and six bathrooms; a 500-square-meter rustic building with renovation potential; and a new panoramic event and tasting room capable of accommodating approximately 160 guests.

The outdoor area also benefits from existing authorization for the construction of a swimming pool.

Overall, the estate comprises sixteen hectares of owned vineyards focused on prestigious appellations such as Moscato d’Asti DOCG, Canelli DOCG, Barbera d’Asti DOCG, Nizza DOCG, Piemonte DOC Chardonnay, Sauvignon and Pinot Nero, together with approximately five additional hectares of agricultural land that could be converted into vineyards. Current production capacity stands at approximately 80,000 bottles per year, with full-capacity potential reaching approximately 120,000 bottles. The estate’s wines have received prestigious international awards and accolades.

The Langhe and Monferrato represent the heart of southern Piedmont’s wine country, a landscape shaped by centuries of rural culture and recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

The Langhe, extending primarily between the provinces of Cuneo and Asti, are characterized by distinctive ridgelines patterned with geometric rows of vines. Every hill offers postcard-perfect views, crowned by fortified villages and medieval castles such as Barolo, Barbaresco and La Morra. The vibrant center of the area is Alba, renowned worldwide not only for the production of great red wines made from Nebbiolo grapes, but also for its prized white truffles and the Tonda Gentile hazelnut, the undisputed star of the local pastry-making tradition.

Monferrato, further east between the provinces of Asti and Alessandria, offers a much broader and more diverse landscape. The Monferrato countryside is a harmonious mosaic in which vineyards producing Barbera, Grignolino and Ruchè alternate with wooded areas and cultivated fields. Beneath the villages lie the famous infernot—fascinating underground cellars hand-carved into pietra da cantoni, a local sandstone, and historically used to safeguard the most precious bottles.
