Wonderful Secluded Coastal House With Outstanding Sea Views

Banyalbufar is one of the smallest and most architecturally intact municipalities on Mallorca’s Serra de Tramuntana coastline, a UNESCO World Heritage mountain range recognized for its cultural landscape. The village sits on terraced cliffs above the Mediterranean, its stone houses and centuries-old marjades, the dry-stone agricultural terraces, forming a coherent historic fabric that strict planning protections have kept largely unchanged. It is a place defined by its remoteness and its elevation, with the sea visible from almost every point in the village.

Daily essentials are available in the village itself, including a small supermarket and the long-established restaurant Sa Tafona. The town of Andratx, with a broader range of shops and services, is approximately 25 kilometres south. Palma de Mallorca, with its full range of dining, cultural institutions, and commercial infrastructure, is around 45 kilometres to the southeast.

Banyalbufar is connected to Palma via the MA-10 coastal road, a drive of approximately 45 to 55 minutes depending on conditions. Palma’s Son Sant Joan Airport is the primary international gateway, located roughly 55 kilometres from the village and served by direct flights to most major European cities, with journey times from the airport to Banyalbufar of around one hour by car. There is no rail connection to this part of the island.
