Laval Castle is unlike any other property on the French Riviera. And it will never resemble anything else.

Built in 1865, it was inhabited by a prince from the Colonna family — one of the most illustrious dynasties of Rome, which has given an pope to the Church and an admiral to the Battle of Lepanto. It was he who transformed this bastide into an Italian rococo-inspired castle, surrounded by a 3.5-hectare park planted with nine species of rare palms and a giant cypress.

In 1946, an Orientalist painter, appointed official painter of the Ministry of Colonies, purchased it with a dream: to hand over the keys to the city of Antibes to turn it into its future Fine Arts Museum. This dream was never realized.

Today, it is up to you to decide what this castle will become.
