Approvals, licensing and construction permits can take years to navigate. Here, on Calçada do Duque de Lafões in Beato, that work has already been done. Cafés such as Marvila Bakehouse and cultural venues as Braço de Prata continue to shape the area into one of Lisbon’s most dynamic neighbourhoods.
