Winery for sale in Castelnuovo Berardenga, Siena – Historic estate in the heart of Chianti Classico

REF. CNT190

In the authentic heart of Chianti Classico in the province of Siena, in Castelnuovo Berardenga, lies an extraordinary winery set amidst a landscape of geometric vineyards, dirt tracks and stone walls. A historic estate of 56 hectares under cultivation, where history and nature intertwine timelessly.

The complex centres on a medieval church with an adjoining monastery, transformed in the 1400s into a refined Renaissance villa and subsequently embellished in the Baroque style by the Bishops of Siena, who used it as a summer residence. A living history, which has never faded into obscurity here.

The property is easily accessible via a comfortable, well-maintained dirt track.

Two souls, one unique estate

Medieval stone building: now a beautifully restored guesthouse, with 3 self-contained apartments

Renaissance villa: an elegant private residence, with large arched windows overlooking the Italian-style garden

Unpretentious Tuscan tradition, restored with respect and skill, without compromising its original spirit.

Historic wine production

Here, a passion for wine isn’t just marketing – it’s in our DNA. The first wine cellar dates back a thousand years, built alongside the church, and it is still there, intact and charming.

Today, the estate produces Chianti Classico DOCG, Riserva and IGT from 20 hectares of vineyards.

The modern, fully equipped and underground winery oversees the entire production cycle, from harvest to bottling.

There is also a centuries-old olive grove, which produces extra virgin olive oil of the highest quality. Tuscany that you can feel, taste and experience.

Elegance, events and hospitality

Perfect for hosting exclusive events and weddings, thanks to the historic church with its distinctive bell gable.

A south-facing swimming pool, in a secluded spot, offers spectacular views over the vineyards and the Siena skyline. Peace you don’t have to imagine: you simply breathe it in.

A rare estate, perfect for those seeking heritage, wine, beauty and a sound financial return in one of the world’s most prestigious areas.
