Villa De Séville

The Casco Antiguo is the historic core of Seville, one of the most architecturally intact medieval city centres in southern Europe. Its streets follow a Moorish street plan, lined with whitewashed facades, wrought-iron balconies, and the kind of interior courtyards that define Andalusian domestic architecture. The area around Plaza del Museo sits within this fabric, adjacent to the Museo de Bellas Artes, housed in a former convent and considered one of Spain’s foremost fine art collections.

Daily life here centres on the Mercado de la Encarnación and the Alameda de Hércules, Seville’s oldest public promenade. Restaurants including Eslava and Bar Antojo are within walking distance. The Cathedral, the Alcázar, and the Archivo de Indias are all reachable on foot in under fifteen minutes.

Seville Santa Justa station connects to Madrid in approximately two and a half hours by AVE high-speed rail, and to Málaga in under two hours. The city’s metro and tram network provides straightforward access across the urban area. Seville Airport, located around ten kilometres northeast of the Casco Antiguo, operates direct flights to major European hubs and takes roughly twenty minutes by car.
