La Plus Ancienne Villa De Tågaborg — Hertzska Villan 1852

The Hertzska Villan is situated on the corner of Vikingsberg Park in Tågaborg and has a long and fascinating history. Built in 1852, it is said to be the oldest villa in Tågaborg.

Since the mid-1990s, the property has served as a private residence of 331 m², now fully renovated. It also comprises retail premises and event and conference facilities of approximately 300 m². The impressive main hall measures 85 m² and boasts a ceiling height of 5.40 metres. The current zoning plan permits both residential and commercial use.

The villa is designated as a building of special cultural and historical interest and has remained largely unchanged since 1896. It represents the oldest preserved historic environment in Tågaborg. According to the City of Helsingborg’s conservation programme for Tågaborg, the property bears witness to the district’s rural origins and is of considerable architectural and cultural-historical significance.

Today, the villa is divided into a private residence and commercial/event premises, with a total floor area of approximately 631 m².

The 1,763 m² plot, which forms part of Vikingsberg Park, also provides space for 15 parking spaces.

Originally known as Landeriet Nyborg, the property was built in 1852 by Court Marshal Nils Barck for his daughter Louise. Over the years, the property has had several distinguished owners:

In 1994, the property was acquired by architect SAR Ulf Hedlund, who restored the villa at a time when it was under threat of demolition.

Since 2020, the Eliasson family has extensively renovated both the private residence and the commercial premises, where they have also operated their business.

The property is offered for sale in its entirety, with the possibility for Butik Linnea to continue leasing the commercial premises for a further few years.
