Cap d’Antibes occupies a pine-covered peninsula that extends into the Mediterranean between the Baie des Anges and the Baie de Cannes, and its western slope carries a particular character: quieter than the eastern shore, oriented toward the sunset, and lined with discreet gated estates that have attracted wealthy European families for well over a century. The peninsula’s identity is shaped by its combination of maritime pine forests, private beaches, and a long tradition of understated, high-security residential life.

Daily life on Cap d’Antibes centres on the Plage de la Garoupe and the Plage du Ponteil for swimming, with the Marché Provençal in Antibes old town a short drive away for morning shopping. Restaurant de Bacon on the western shore is the established address for seafood. The old town of Antibes, with its covered market, restaurants, and Picasso Museum, is under ten minutes by car.

Antibes train station connects directly to Nice in around twenty minutes and to Cannes in under ten, with frequent TGV services linking the coast to Paris in roughly five and a half hours. Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport is approximately twenty kilometres from Cap d’Antibes, reachable in twenty to thirty minutes by car, and serves direct routes to most major European cities and several intercontinental destinations.
