Ferreries is the highest municipality in Menorca and sits at the geographic heart of the island, surrounded by some of its most intact agricultural and natural landscape. Menorca Airport, located near Mahón, is approximately 25 kilometres from Ferreries, a drive of around 25 to 30 minutes. The airport operates direct flights to major European cities including London, Barcelona, Madrid, and Frankfurt, with the highest frequency of routes running from April through October. Year-round ferry connections from Mahón port link Menorca to Barcelona and Valencia, with crossing times of approximately eight to nine hours on overnight services.
