Casa Carry Le Rouet

Carry-le-Rouet is a small fishing port and residential town on the Côte Bleue, the stretch of coastline west of Marseille that remains largely protected from overdevelopment by the Parc Marin de la Côte Bleue. The town has a distinct character: a working harbour lined with seafood restaurants, rocky calanques, and pine-covered hillsides that drop directly to the sea. It draws a discerning Marseillais clientele who value its relative quiet and natural setting over the more commercialised resorts further east.

Daily life centres on the port, where the fish market and restaurants such as L’Escale serve fresh catches directly off the boats. The town has a weekly market, a train station on the Marseille-Miramas line, and direct access to the coastal walking paths of the Parc Marin. Aix-en-Provence is approximately 40 kilometres by road.

Carry-le-Rouet station provides regular TER services to Marseille Saint-Charles in approximately 40 minutes, with onward TGV connections to Paris in around three hours. Marseille Provence Airport at Marignane is roughly 20 kilometres away, accessible in under 30 minutes by car, offering direct routes across Europe and beyond. The A55 motorway connects the town to Marseille city centre in approximately 30 minutes depending on traffic.
