. Set on a quiet one-way street, the house runs north to south. With a floor area of approximately 310 m², it rises over two levels with a converted upper level above. The principal facade, with its off-centre entrance door, combines tuffeau (a soft white limestone quarried in the Loire valley) at ground-floor level with a chequerboard arrangement of brick and tuffeau on the first level. The remaining elevations are rendered. The slate roofs are gabled, pierced by roof windows and finished with a dentil cornice. On the first level, a landing serves four bedrooms, a bathroom with lavatory and a shower room with lavatory. On the upper level, a 100 m² converted space has been fitted out. It comprises an artist’s studio, a sitting room, a library and a shower room with lavatory. The rooms are generously lit by a glazed roof light, roof windows and a glazed door opening onto a terrace. The house also has two vaulted cellars.
