Christine & Lance Holwell

We’re Christine and Lance Holwell, a husband-and-wife real estate team with Coldwell Banker serving Costa Rica’s stunning Southern Zone — much of our focus being from Dominical to Tres Ríos. We moved to Costa Rica in 2020 to embrace the Pura Vida lifestyle, slow down, and appreciate the smaller things in life — sunshine, community, nature, and time together.

I (Christine) began my real estate career in Arizona in 2004 and consistently ranked among the top 1% –3% of agents statewide. I handle most of the client relations, negotiations, contracts, and property showings. Lance joined me after a successful career as a top commercial audio-visual sales rep, where he designed technical layouts for high-end projects. His eye for land, construction, and materials is incredible — he can visualize what’s possible on a raw piece of land and quickly spot the build quality of a home.

We complement each other’s strengths perfectly. Our shared approach is simple: listen, educate, advise — never push. We know how exciting and overwhelming it can be to buy property in another country, so we work hard to guide our clients through every step with honesty, integrity, and care.

Helping people find their dream home in Costa Rica has been one of the most rewarding chapters of our lives. When we’re not working, you’ll find us exploring the jungle, hiking, enjoying good food and wine, and soaking up the incredible beauty of Costa Rica’s beaches and wildlife.
