Custom doors, windows, cabinets and carefully chosen finishes and fixtures have been incorporated into the home. ICF construction carefully oriented to maximize natural light and expansive vistas results in the home responding gracefully to sun, weather, and terrain. State of the art systems include photovoltaic solar power, back-up generator and power storage, and in-floor radiant heat. Water is provided by a private well and additional systems include whole-house reverse osmosis filtration, two cisterns, a recirculating hot water pump, sprinkler system, and drip irrigation for landscaped and garden areas.

Beyond the main residence, a hand-crafted Teahouse and ramada, a large viewing portal and a labyrinth offer quiet spaces for contemplation and retreat.
