Vallauris sits on the hills above the Côte d’Azur between Cannes and Antibes, a town shaped as much by its centuries-old ceramics tradition as by its association with Pablo Picasso, who worked here in the late 1940s and left the Château de Vallauris with a monumental painted chapel now preserved as a national museum. The Super Cannes sector, on the elevated southern slopes, commands unobstructed views across the Golfe de la Napoule toward Cap d’Antibes, with a residential character that is distinctly quieter and more private than the Cannes seafront below.

Daily life draws on both Cannes and Antibes. The Marché Forville in Cannes is a fifteen-minute drive, as are the restaurants along the Croisette and rue Félix Faure.
