Canton De Fayence, Wunderschöne Bastide Provençale

Tourrettes is a hilltop village in the Pays de Fayence, a cluster of perched medieval villages set in the Var hinterland roughly 40 kilometres north of Cannes. The village retains its original Provençal character, with stone lanes, a Romanesque church, and views across the Siagne valley toward the Esterel massif. The surrounding countryside is defined by oak woodland, vineyards, and lavender fields, and the area has long attracted buyers seeking the authentic inland Provence that the coast no longer offers.

The market town of Fayence, five minutes by car, provides weekly markets, boulangeries, and restaurants including Le Castellaras. Callian, Montauroux, and Seillans are all within ten minutes. The Terre Blanche resort and golf complex is immediately adjacent to Tourrettes, offering two championship courses, a spa, and fine dining.

Cannes is approximately 40 kilometres south, reachable in around 45 minutes by car via the D562 and A8 autoroute. Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport is roughly 60 kilometres away, typically one hour by car, with direct connections to most European capitals and intercontinental routes. The TGV station at Les Arcs-Draguignan, around 45 minutes west, provides high-speed rail access to Paris in approximately three hours.
