Théoule-sur-Mer occupies a privileged position on the western edge of the Esterel Massif, where the rust-red volcanic rock of the Corniche de l’Esterel meets the Mediterranean. The commune sits between Cannes and Miramar, sheltered from the busier stretches of the Côte d’Azur, and retains a distinctly residential character. Daily life centres on the small port and the handful of restaurants along the waterfront, including Le Théoule and La Pinède. The market in Miramar runs weekly.
