Rustikale Finca, Biniaraix, Sóller, Mallorca

Biniaraix is one of the smallest and most intact stone villages in Mallorca, sitting at the foot of the Barranc de Biniaraix, a dramatic gorge that rises into the Serra de Tramuntana. The village is composed almost entirely of 18th and 19th century stone houses arranged around a single cobbled square, with a character that has changed little over generations. The Serra de Tramuntana carries UNESCO World Heritage status as a cultural landscape, and Biniaraix sits directly within its boundaries.

The village of Sóller is two kilometres away and provides daily essentials: the Mercat de Sóller, independent food shops along Carrer de sa Lluna, and restaurants including Es Canyis and Bens d’Avall. The port, Port de Sóller, is a further three kilometres and offers direct beach access. Fornalutx, consistently ranked among Spain’s most beautiful villages, is a five-minute drive.

Sóller connects to Palma via the historic narrow-gauge railway, with a journey of approximately one hour to Palma’s Plaça d’Espanya. By road, Palma is roughly 30 kilometres via the Ma-11 tunnel, taking around 30 minutes. Palma de Mallorca Airport is approximately 40 kilometres from Biniaraix, with a drive time of 35 to 45 minutes depending on traffic, and serves direct routes to most major European cities year-round.
