Andratx, Villa, Mallorca

Andratx occupies the southwestern corner of Mallorca, where the Serra de Tramuntana mountains meet the coastline in a landscape of pine-covered hillsides and deep-water coves. The municipality has long attracted a discreet international community drawn to its combination of natural drama and relative seclusion. The town of Andratx itself retains a working Mallorcan character, while the surrounding areas, including Camp de Mar and Port d’Andratx, carry a well-established reputation as some of the island’s most sought-after addresses.

Camp de Mar has a small beach, the Golf de Andratx course directly adjacent, and a handful of waterfront restaurants including La Mola. Port d’Andratx, a ten-minute drive, offers a concentrated marina dining scene with restaurants such as Layn and Rocamar. Palma’s central market, Mercat de l’Olivar, is around 35 minutes by car.

Palma de Mallorca Airport is approximately 35 kilometres from Andratx, reachable in around 30 to 40 minutes by car depending on traffic. The airport operates year-round international routes to major European cities including London, Frankfurt, Paris, and Zurich, with significantly expanded connections during the summer season. There is no direct rail link to this part of the island, so a car is essential for daily use.
