GANDYLISA LUXURY presents Las Villas de Los Álamos, an elegant residential complex of 49 villas designed by the architectural firm Torras y Sierra. Featuring a traditional design, it is located in the Sotogrande Alto development, at the foot of the ”La Cañada” golf course. What defines this new development in Sotogrande, where the surrounding environment takes center stage, is the lush vegetation and outdoor spaces that articulate and give meaning to the entire project’s architecture. The motto of the project is ”a garden with houses.” The exclusivity, sustainability, and design of its villas are set within a natural and gated environment.
The new homes in Sotogrande are organized into three types:
Patio Houses A group of 19 semi-detached houses on the northernmost part of the plot. These constitute the ”village area of the project,” featuring contemporary architecture with flat roofs. In each of these homes in Sotogrande, the spaces are arranged around a private patio, complete with a garden, private pool, and pergola area. These homes feature three en-suite bedrooms on the first floor, while the main living-dining room and kitchen are located on the ground floor, seamlessly connecting with the patio’s outdoor spaces.
Garden Houses These homes boast a more timeless architectural style, with volumes that blend together across the various gardens and platforms, adapting to the topography of the land. The 24 semi-detached houses of this type each have their own plot with a private garden and pool, as well as a large pergola that extends the interior living space outdoors, allowing residents to fully enjoy Sotogrande’s climate. Most of these homes in Sotogrande have a plot size exceeding 300 m².
Detached/Individual Houses There are six units of this type. They share the same characteristics as the semi-detached houses. These villas in Sotogrande are located in the southern part of the plot, where the terrain slopes more steeply. The plots are larger, some exceeding 1000 m2. These homes feature 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and a guest toilet.
The design of these Sotogrande homes meets the highest standards of comfort and quality, from air conditioning and underfloor heating powered by aerothermal energy, to fully furnished and equipped kitchens, and a carefully curated selection of finishes. Everything reflects a top-tier product, and its surroundings are in line with the latest trends.

Sotogrande Alto is the elevated, inland section of one of Europe’s most established private residential estates, set in the hills above the Costa del Sol’s western edge in the municipality of San Roque. Known for its low-density planning, mature pine and cork oak landscape, and strict architectural controls, it occupies a different register from the marina and beach areas below. The enclave draws a discreet international community, with proximity to several of Spain’s most respected golf courses defining much of its identity.
La Cañada Golf Club borders the area directly. Real Club de Golf Sotogrande and Valderrama, ranked among the top courses in continental Europe, are within a short drive. The Sotogrande marina offers waterfront dining and a sailing club. Puerto Banús and Marbella are approximately 40 minutes by car, and Gibraltar’s commercial centre is around 20 minutes.
Gibraltar International Airport is approximately 20 kilometres away, offering direct connections to London and other European cities, with a drive time of roughly 25 minutes from Sotogrande Alto. Málaga Airport, with significantly broader international routes, is around 90 kilometres and approximately one hour by car via the AP-7 motorway. Algeciras, the main regional ferry hub with connections to Morocco, is under 15 kilometres. Marbella and the wider Costa del Sol are accessible within 45 minutes.
